The season is about to start. Time to get in ready!

At the end of the day and we are back at the house, the muscles are really sore and the quick fix is to jump in the hot tub. 10-15" of snow accumulation by Tuesday

The Steamboat Pilot says that "Steamboat residents could expect 10-15" of snow accumulation by Tuesday morning"

It seems like the last few posts have just been about the weather and ... you're right! We are excited to see so much snow so early. There is no guarantee that early snow will mean a lot of snow this winter but based on past history it's a pretty good indicator. We are so excited about the early snowfall that we are planning a quick trip in early December.

Snowmaking Starts in Steamboat

Steamboat Resort has started snowmaking!

The Steamboat Pilot is reporting that the Steamboat Ski Resort started snow making operations today in preparation for opening day November 27, 2013. After a record breaking snowfall during the month of October, almost 40", the resort is getting ready for the new season.
